This “jewel in the heart of Austin” offers panoramic views of the downtown. Themed gardens include the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, the Riparian Streambed, the Hartman Prehistoric Garden and the Mabel Davis Rose Garden. These gardens are woven with paths, streams and ponds filled with Koi, creating an urban oasis full of shaded corners, sunny areas of lawn and thousands of native and cultivated plants. With art galleries, various events, live music and many plants for sale, the Zilker Botanical Garden will be an unforgettable tour.
